Here at Bens Bakery, we are committed to using locally sourced ingredients, to create lovingly crafted cakes, sweets and treats, many of which are gluten free and vegan friendly.

You'll find us at farmers markets in and around London & Essex.
We are also happy to do birthday cakes, bespoke wedding favours, corporate events such as afternoon tea at your office.

Ben Knell - The Chef !

Having trained at London’s famous Westminster College, Ben worked his way up through the ranks of some of London’s most prestigious hotels & Michelin starred restaurants.

He was Head Pastry Chef at the original Hakkasan, London when they received their first Star. Whilst working with Jun Tanaka at Pearl, Ben was named by the Sunday Times as one of the 'Best 10 Pastry Chefs' in the country.
